What good is a great looking web site if new patients can't find you? We work
hard to solve this problem through the use of
Google
AdWords and search engine submission.
Your web site includes a Google AdWords account that displays an advertisement
of your practice when people search for targeted keywords. For example, if you
are an allergist practicing in Miami, Florida, we would setup your account to
display your ad when these keywords are entered: "allergist miami florida".
Google ads are also displayed on many other sites in the
Google
Network.
We also submit your site to hundreds of popular search engines and web directories
to provide you with the maximum exposure possible.

We provide two ways to create a web site address for your practice. The standard
address for your web site is http://www.doctorswebrx.com/xyz where "xyz" is
a short set of characters that is normally an abbreviation of your practice
name. For example, if your practice name is "Allergists of Florida", you may
choose the abbreviation "aof", resulting in a web site address of http://www.doctorswebrx.com/aof.
We also provide an optional addressing method (for an additional fee) where
you own your own domain name and that name would "point" to your web site. The
choice is up to you! We will help you purchase your own domain name, or if you
already own a domain name, we will be happy to help you make the necessary changes
to point your name to your Doctor's Web Rx site.
Each site includes an email address for you to use on your web site. If you
already have an email address, you only need to specify it during setup and
all your web pages will refer to that address. If you would like to setup additional
email accounts for your practice, we can provide you with as many accounts as
you require (a small fee is charged for each additional email).
Your web site is completely backed up every day on our servers. We also provide
you with the ability to create and download your own copy of the web site information,
and a very nice feature which allows you to "undo" changes you have made any
day in the past week.

Patient registration can be streamlined with your Doctor's Web Rx site by providing
both online patients forms and registration. We provide you with tools to upload
your current paper forms so that patients can fill them out ahead of time.
We also have standard online forms available for patients to fill out and submit
to you via our secure messaging service (see below). The choice is up to you!
Secure messaging is a method we use for communication between your patients
and your staff. A number of the patient services we make available use this
method. Messages between you and your patients are encrypted and password-only
accessible to keep private information just that - private. Standard email is
not used for messaging. Your patients register as a user on your site, providing
their own password, and services such as registration, appointment requests,
refill requests, etc. are generated using only encrypted secure messages.

Phone calls between office staff and patients can be tedious and time-consuming.
With our appointment request screen, patients can send you a secure message
requesting an appointment which a staff member can answer at a time you determine!
It is much quicker to process a list of message requests than to listen to and
reply to voice messages. This can result in much greater efficiency for your
office, and patients can check their replies anytime they want from any computer.

Much like appointment requests, patients can request prescription refills via
a secure message screen. Again, office staff can process these requests at a
time they choose and reply securely to the patient.
Doctor's Web Rx provides a standard Patient Education screen with links to web
sites and documents that provide important information about your specialty.
You may add your own links or documents using our online word processor or Microsoft
Word, and you can even submit links or your own original articles to our document
library and make it available for other physicians to include in their patient
education screens.

If you would like to notify all your online registered patients of events in
your practice (new office openings, staff and physician changes, web site changes,
etc.) you can do so using the Office Announcement service.
You can enable a scrolling medical news feed on your site and provide the latest medical news to your patients. Many different health news feeds are available.
