As fully trained and Board Certified allergists, our physicians are highly trained to determine the cause of allergies related to foods, the environment, drugs, or topical substances.

Dr. McLaughlin graduated from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach. He obtained a BS degree from the University of Florida where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He did postgraduate residency and fellowship training at Shands Teaching Hospital. He was on the teaching faculty at Keesler AFB Teaching Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi during his tour of duty with the USAF. He has passed the exam to be board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is a past President of the Volusia/Flagler Easter Seal Society and for many years was Medical Director for the Easter Seals. DR. McLaughlin is expert in all facets of allergy and his special areas of interest are asthma and sinus disease. He has for the past several years been selected as one of the top doctors in central Florida by Orlando Magazine.
Juan C. Mas, M.D.
Physician
Dr. Mas grew up in St. Augustine and comes from a medical family. His father snd several siblings are physicians. He is Board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Mas did his residency and fellowship training at the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He is expert in the care of allergies and asthma.
Shayna Zimmer PA-C
Allergy Physician Assistant
Shayna is a graduate of Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange. She attained her Bachelor of Arts degree from UCF and was Magna Cum Laude. She then worked in the medical field for 6 years as an EMG/NCV technician for Florida Medical Associates in Daytona Beach. Shayna then returned to school to get her Master of Science Degree, Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel College in Tennessee. Before joining Asthma & Allergy Specialists she worked as a PA for a Gastroenterology group in New Symryna. Shayna is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA).
Office Manager
Lucy has worked in medical offices in both Connecticut and Florida. She is a specialist in medical insurance and has worked for Asthma & Allergy Specialists since 1999.
